  • August 1: VIS Short Papers
  • August 8: Posters, Panels, Tutorials, Workshops, Art Show, VAST Challenge, SciVis Contest, Doctoral Colloquium

All material submitted to the tracks listed below will appear on the conference electronic proceedings for attendees.

  • Submission Instructions:
    • Posters: 2 pages
      1. Review the Submission Guidelines found below
      2. author(s) retain copyright
      3. submit camera-ready PDF online to PCS
      4. Camera-Ready Deadline: August 8

    • Panels: 4 pages
      1. Title
      2. Include a position statement on the topic and a short biography, the total of which should be limited to 500 words for each panelist, up to a maximum of four pages for the whole panel
      3. a very short 100-word abstract for the printed program
      4. submit camera-ready PDF via email to Chairs
      5. Camera-Ready Deadline: August 8

    • VAST Challenge: 2 pages
      1. Review the Submission Guidelines found below
      2. submit the IEEE eCopyright Form (comign soon)
      3. submit camera-ready PDF online to PCS
      4. Camera-Ready Deadline: August 15

    • SciVis Contest: 2 pages
      1. Review the Submission Guidelines found below
      2. submit the IEEE eCopyright Form (comign soon)
      3. submit camera-ready PDF online to PCS
      4. Camera-Ready Deadline: July 31

    • Tutorials and Workshops: compile the following information:
      1. Title
      2. Organizers / Lecturers
      3. Abstract (max 500 (Tutorials) and 150 (Workshops) words)
      4. a very short 100-word abstract for the printed program
      5. submit camera-ready copies direct to the Tutorial or Workshop Chairs
      6. Camera-Ready Deadline: August 8
  • Submission Guidelines:
    • Formatting Guidelines (for all accepted categories - papers, posters, contest, panel etc)
    • Prepare a high quality PDF
    • (optional) assemble supplemental material for the online proceedings; make sure to submit all files with your camera-ready PDF, even if you already submitted them with your initial submission. IMPORTANT: README and SUMMARY files are MANDATORY if you are submitting supplemental material for IEEE XPlore. Failing to submit these two files by the camera-ready deadline will result in your supplemental material files not being submitted to Xplore.
    • If you have not registered by the registration deadline your PDF will *not* appear in the proceedings.
